Pola pengkondisian gizi merupakan salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan prestasi atlet di kecabangan olahraga masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola pengkondisian gizi bagi atlet dalam cabang olahraga yang berprestasi di pertandingan profesional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian para atlet Kempo, Karate dan Atletik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam peneleitian ini meliputi: wawancara, dokumentasi, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD). Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi empat kriteria diantara credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pengkondisian gizi olahraga mencakup pengaturan kebutuhan gizi yang meliputi karbohidrat, protein, lemak, vitamin, mineral, dan asupan air yang cukup dan seimbang. pengamatan ini dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan kalori atlet yang diukur sesuai dengan aktivitas dan intensitas latihan atlet. Sumber kalori diberikan melalui pemilihan bahan makanan yang tepat, seperti buah-buahan, sayuran, ikan, telur, daging, susu, dan kacang-kacangan. Melakukan penerapan pengkondisian gizi yang tepat, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan performa atlet saat bertanding dan mendukung pencapaian prestasi atlet secara maksimal.
