Dampak Case-Based Learning terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Era Digital

Case-Based Learning (CBL) has emerged as an innovative pedagogical approach that enhances students' conceptual understanding and learning motivation, particularly in the digital era. This study employed a literature review method to examine the impact of CBL on elementary school students’ comprehension and engagement in learning. Relevant studies published in the last ten years were systematically analyzed to identify trends, benefits, and challenges associated with implementing CBL in primary education. The findings indicate that CBL effectively facilitates deep conceptual understanding by allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Additionally, it fosters active participation, critical thinking, and higher motivation compared to traditional learning methods. The integration of digital tools further enhances CBL’s effectiveness, making learning more interactive and engaging. However, challenges such as teachers' preparedness, technological infrastructure, and curriculum adaptation remain significant barriers to widespread implementation. Addressing these challenges through teacher training, curriculum reform, and improved technological access can optimize the benefits of CBL in elementary education. This study provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to implement CBL as a sustainable learning model in the digital era.
