Abstract

Time efficiency in the manufacturing industry, especially textile production,
affecting costs, quality and market response. PT Bintang Tri Putratex faces efficiency challenges with several unemployed employees and manual planning. This research describes the application of Microsoft Project 2019 to increase efficiency in the production of 2500 yards of batik cloth. This software allows for clearer calculations of working hours, expenses and process planning. It is hoped that Microsoft Project 2019 can reduce excessive production time, maximize resources and reduce delays. The implementation of Microsoft Project 2019 clarifies production planning, including working hours, number of employees, and production sequence through Network Diagrams. This study shows the production time for 2500 yards of batik cloth is reduced to 19.58 hours with this software, compared to 23.39 hours previously. This program provides a more focused and detailed view, helps avoid wasting time, and allows efficient calculation of working hours and resources in the production process.
