Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the role of manpower education and training in achieving the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with experts on workforce education and training, as well as document analysis related to workforce education and training policies. The results show that workforce education and training plays a very important role in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045. In this context, there are several challenges that need to be addressed, such as the gap between labor market needs and the education curriculum, the lack of accessibility and quality of workforce education and training, and the lack of coordination between relevant stakeholders. Based on these findings, this study recommends efforts to improve the curriculum of labor education and training that is relevant to labor market needs, improve the accessibility and quality of labor education and training in all regions of Indonesia, and strengthen coordination between the government, educational institutions and the industrial sector. This research contributes to further understanding of the role of labor education and training in achieving the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045. The results of this research are expected to serve as a basis for the development of more effective and efficient workforce education and training policies and programs.
