21st century skills which include critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration have now become essential needs in education, especially in efforts to realize the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045. Each of these skills has an important role in equip students with adaptive and competitive abilities in the ever-growing era of globalization. Critical thinking supports effective analysis and decision making, while creativity helps students develop innovative solutions in a variety of contexts. Communication skills enable students to express ideas and understanding clearly, and collaboration enhances the ability to work together in teams to achieve common goals. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing problem-based learning and project-based learning models to support the development of these skills holistically. Through the integration of 21st century skills in the curriculum and learning process, it is hoped that the quality of education in Indonesia can improve and produce a generation that is ready to face global challenges. Thus, these skills not only play a role in student academic achievement, but also in supporting the transformation of Indonesian education in line with the nation's long-term vision.
